The Actuary magazine features Sustema in «Action on Insurtech»

In the industry magazine’s 30th-anniversary edition, Ed Plowman, Chief Actuary at Sompo Holdings and President of the Board of IFoA, looks at Insurtech’s development and its impact on the insurance industry.

He examines highly specialised technology-based value propositions by companies such as Sustema, that use machine learning applied to data to create scoring tools that assist underwriters with risk selection. Plowman concludes that, as the industry is entering the digital transformation, insurers are more and more seizing opportunities that smart investments in such targeted solutions hold for them.
